December

December is such a busy month but filled with so many fun activities. Our elf Frizzle has returned from the North Pole and has been quite mischievous! The girls enjoy waking up every morning and going on an elf hunt. Ellie has to psych herself up before going to find him. She says "elf not scary, let's go find him." We never know what to expect. One night he took all the refrigerator magnets and put them on the ceiling fan! Another night he had a late night snack and spilled chocolate syrup on the counter. He is a lot of fun, but Greg and I are looking forward to Frizzle returning to the North Pole! His messes are a pain to clean up!

Miss Emma had her first Christmas program at school and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! Everyone in the class had a small job in the program. She got to hang an ornament on the tree. All the children did such a great job!

Megan's class put on The Nativity play. She was an angel and loved it! The children worked very hard to memorize their lines and everyone did great! After the program, the children all gave their parents a gift. One of the gifts was a book the children made called "Kindergarten Proverbs." These were hilarious! Megan's was "Two's company, three is....fun!" Some of the others were --A penny saved is...no good; fish and visitors stink....when they die; better to be safe than...dead; you can lead a horse to water but...don't let him fall in; when the blind leads the blind...they fall down. The children wrote their part and used their own spelling. What a neat thing to have! We are so blessed to have our girls at such a sweet school!

In the middle of the all the craziness of the month, we get to celebrate Greg's birthday! We went to eat and had a cake for him at our house. The girls always love a party! Happy Birthday Daddy! We love you!
